For Cornerstone, the holiday season is about giving. We believe that giving back is important, not only to our clients and employees, but by supporting our local charities. Over the years, the generosity of Cornerstone’s corporate office has allowed us to give a sizeable Christmas donation to one local children’s cancer hospital. This holiday season we want to do more! We would like to broaden our impact on our communities by supporting four children’s cancer hospitals where we conduct business: Maryland, Michigan, Northern California and Southern California.

Cornerstone Staffing Solutions believes in making a difference and that is why we have decided to match each employee contribution– meaning our gift will have double the impact on each child! Our funds will provide over 100 Target gift cards and over 100 presents to some very special and deserving kids fighting cancer this holiday season.

We can attest that our generosity and support provides some much needed holiday cheer to these cancer kids as they undergo the fight of their life. We have personally delivered hundreds of presents over the years and their reaction is always “priceless.” Their smiles are contagious as they show their enthusiasm when they receive their presents. They are amazed that a stranger would show favor to them, and the parents leave with a sense of hope that they are not fighting this battle alone.

In the end it’s about a commitment to give back to others, and CornerStone’s direct involvement with the pediatric oncology department has lit the way. I’m thankful to be a part of a company that strives to make a positive difference in our communities and in the lives of these precious children.
